Final Blog Post for ITEC 7430:
Another semester come and gone! Through this course, I have continued to add to my tool belt resources and skills necessary to have a 21st century, technology rich classroom for my students. I have learned about implementing new tools and gained necessary practice in a wide variety of resources including blogs, podcasts and vodcasts, social networks in education, visual learning tools, virtual environments, wikis and collaborative tools, mobile apps, and Google tools. Additionally, I have had to continuously blog and reflect on these new tools and how I could use them to support a classroom of diverse learners.
Through this course, I have not only gained practical experience for myself in order to help my own students, but I have tools that I can bring to my department and my school to impact the entirety of the student body. As teachers, it is important that we continuously learn and improve - particularly in the ever-changing field of instructional technology.
